I am getting a very occasional lock at 9.1dB - but not enough to scan it in properly.

10dB max for 3960 V. SR 30000, 5/6, 8PSK from the analyser, again none of the cards or receivers want to know ??.

Once you get that changer up and running and your Cband lnbf at focus i recon you will have some good results off that Lami, your location's a bonus as well

That's the hope. I do wonder what kind of gains I will have from C band, since it's not as sensitive to focus as Ku or Ka. It's around 5 degrees off centre at the moment. Also, want to try different LNBs - I think my Tit is a bit deaf at the bottom end (a bit like me).

Strange you receivers don't lock it. What signal does your card give you? 10dB should be enough for a lock here, so maybe the analyser is a bit optimistic with figures?

Locked and scanned it in on this cool, dry morning. Nothing to see there as all encrypted...

this is good, has a little coloured icon to show expected signal strength, and is uptodate, unlike satbeams and lyngsat

@aceb, can you have a look at 3804 H. & 3807 H on 58°W. I have the two carriers up but are only about 5.5dB with me and not able to lock. You might just be able to crack them with your 2.4. Ta

@John I missed your request last night as I'd already switched off but I did check from work this morning and the only signal I could lock was on 3800H, are you still getting them today?

Hi John,

3804 H and 3807 are daily Caracol TV feeds, they also use 3810 H, 3812 H, 3815 H and 3817 H. All these frequencies mostly using 5/6 and 8PSK, a big dish is needed...

PS: I think you know where to find a complete C-bamd feed-list from this position.

Best Regards
qwer.

Hi aceb, I see your 58W updates on Lyngsat, could you please tell me what method do you use to get the channel names of Digicipher muxes? Just a simple hex editor or is there a software that can do it more easily?

Oh yes, so they are! TSreader displays the channel names fine. All of my updates have been made with TSreader, I export the results as html files and let Christian extract the information he needs from them. I also attach a small text file of notes that lists the encryption for each transponder, in this instance DVBDream shows it as GI for General Instruments AKA Digicipher.

thanks, I'll have to check why my tsreader doesn't show this... although I could only try 40W/43W and one on 55W
