I did a blindscan and am receiving 216 (most of them encrypted) services at the Moment on 68.5E C:Band. Lots of news channels mushroomed.

Winegard Micromesh 3.1m or Channel Master PFA 3.1m ?

Would you please be able to test for some signals for me from 68.5E?
They are encrypted but I just wish to know if they are able to be received, 3712 H, SR14454 and any feeds on 3782H and 4175H?

Thx

both antennas, but a litlle bit stronger with the Channel Master with the Titanium.

3712 H , no problem, regular programmes always "on"

Here is one of my last scans but 3782 and 4175 were off, but usually when it's on , I have no problem to lock them, especially 4175 H, maybe 3782 is the weakest, I need to confirm this next time this will be "on", I can't check this for now.

PS: both scans are not from today and were not done the same day

Feedsat_DXer,

Many thanks for confirming the signals I asked about are able to be received.

One last couple of questions if you can please help?
1. With your Channel Master 3.1m dish, what LNB are you using, I saw you referred to "Titanium" in your above post, is this the LNB?
2. Approximately what latitude are you at just so that I can see if you are in a stronger zone for the beam compared to Southern UK?

Rgds

1: Yes the Titanium C1W-PLL

2: According to the offcial footprint, in France and UK, we have the same beam, but don't forget most of the feeds are weaker than regular channels.

@moonbase : Back to this post, 3782 H is active and locked

Feedsat_Dxer,

Thanks for the confirmation.
If I read your Signal/Noise correctly at 8.4db from your 3.1m dish it looks like anything smaller than a 3m dish in the southern UK would probably not get a lock?

Yes, probably; the dB failure for a 8PSK 3/4 is around 7.8 dB I think
