thats good going -
@moonbase - do you pull these in on your 2m?
I have not checked 4.0W in detail for a couple of years.
However, the last time I did check it in detail I locked the same frequency from Amos 7 as reported above as locked by "nelson", ie, 11061H, SR4500.
Considering "nelson" is a couple of hundred miles further North he has done very well to lock the frequency, especially at 6.2dB.
The frequency of 11061H is a good marker for anyone wishing to try to lock the Middle East frequencies from a UK location.
It has the lowest dB threshold required for a lock for the Middle East frequencies and it seemed to be the strongest signal of them when I last checked it.
A summary table of my scan of 4.0W from a couple of years ago using a Precision 2.0m dish is attached below.
Please note that the table contains Middle East frequencies from both Amos 3 and Amos 7. At the time of scanning the satellite I did not split them.
Red font in the table indicates the signal was present but below the level required to lock it.
