12543H 3700 TVH is not aligned with other, older Amos channels. It's peak signal is almost a degree east and reaches peak when ABS3a Hellessat test card can be viewed. Made the mistake of using TVH to lock onto 4.0w...Does not work! I think it is 1\2 a degree out of alignment.

Am I right in thinking reading your chart throughout the day a lot of the European services are still on Amos 2 ? Or has everything from Amos 2 gone now to 7?
Its difficult to tell as the SQ on some transponders hasn't varied much where as on others it has.
Difficult to know!

Amos 2 is still operational @ 4 west despite the rhetoric to the contrary of it switching off 2 days ago I think we are looking at a phased change over for a few more days.

Amos 2 is definitely still in operation, and none of these three birds are in the very same orbit either. This makes it almost impossible to get a perfect alignment, thankfully I'm inside the Euro/Eastern beam so it doesn't matter that much, but still there are huge differences between frequencies.

Indeed with the latest three successive TLE's, it seems Amos 7 is maintained at 3.85°W, not at 4.0°W like Amos 2 and 3.
