Do you (somehow doubt it!) ?:-lol

I would if I was the one paying for it... :-rofl2

But that said, it's been many months since the last scam call (the "Your Windows has a problem" scam), so the line is fairly quiet, at the moment...:D

You would have thought that the people behind some of these ridiculous emails and calls would try to make sure that the "English" used was at least reasonably "passable" - but obviously not :p

Also, that's about as stupid and unconvincing as calls from someone from the Indian Sub-continent introducing himself as "Steven" from Microsoft/BT/Whoever! :D

Hey don't knock BT with this anymore 90% of their calls are answered by UK English speaking real people. I only know this because we have been having a problem for a couple of weeks and after a number of factory resets I am now waiting for a replacement youview stb and each time I have contacted them I have spoken to someone in the UK, today I mentioned this and was informed that they have finally listened to their customers and 90% is the figure they have reached now since its instigation. A step in the right direction for sure

Unplug the phone? :-rofl2

Actually I do just that when I have my usual 39 winks after lunch.

Got sick of being woken by the offer of free boilers.

Not knocking BT (I have legacy shares:mad:) unless they are cold-calling us even though we are on the Telephone Preference List (or whatever it's called) - think someone may be mimicking their call techniques for phishing/scamming calls.

The joke is that it is probably the disgruntled ex employees making these stupid calls having stolen a copy of the database when they had chance, but as I have mentioned previously their new service BT Call protect it wiped them off the face of the planet until yesterday morning when my wife answered a 00 prefix offring to fix my computer which immediately got blocked, the first we have had since joining the service many months ago

As I said earlier, the call today appeared to come from an 0845........, not an 00....., number!

I also received a same email 2 days ago. And after sending him the application form, he immediately approved the application without any interview. The pay rate for this role is really high, 26 pounds per hour without having to travel to the company to see the managers. However, they request me to provide them my bank account in order to receive money from their customer and then get it sent to their bank. That's why I started to think that they may scam and the website Rekox.com may be a fake site, and I found this:
