Any interest in a 55W test?

The full sized conical feed kindly supplied by CH has arrived ..
This is destined for use on the -full band - Titanium C1 PLL- on Carl my offset 1.5m fortec star.
Is there any interest in me testing to see what transponders can be locked on this setup ?
The C1 is 8 degrees offset from the focus approx. ..and as we know rarely less than 1.2 will do the job catching ANYthing..
Most use 1.8 ...so this might encourage a few Cband wannabe recruits..

Agreed Costa ...and quite possibly there are handful of borderline transponders that _might_ just be do-able looking at the Crazyscan graph ..with a tweaked setup and the C1 PLL at the focus.

I'm running a comparison scan on Christina atm (Horizontal) ..
She is a 2.2 mtr PF of course ..and using the ESX241 ..
I'll post the graph when complete so you can compare it yourselves.

..Don't be surprised if I don't lock them all ..
There WAS a time when I could ..but old age is catching up with this bird ..and worse ...many channels have switched to 8psk etc..
or higher fec ..which makes DXing 55W more difficult even with a big dish.

Sure VS. Not as aged on this side of the pond my friend. A quick blind scan on my x2 premium yields plenty:

TP: 49

Tv: 162

Radio: 44

If so I'll add the H hits to the V hits for a proper comparison ..
I am curious about 3 massive peaks that are unresponsive to the TBS card below 3550 V ..
I suspect these are broadband router signals ?
Certainly at this low elevation it's a possible..
V scan almost complete..
There is of course the possibility also that not all used TPs in the USA are echoed on the European lobe..

Just did a blind scan with my technomate 5302 and got different results then on my x2 premium:

TP: 48 (28H and 20V)

TV: 192
