Signal level readings were taken at two orbital positions that were 0.3 degrees apart.

Has it been confirmed that the upper band frequencies (12500-12750) have moved to BADR 8? I've not noticed any improvement in signal on those frequencies apart from 12563V which moved a couple of weeks ago, where I had a big improvement of around 3-4dB. To me, it doesn't look like the others have moved yet.

No, Flysat is not reliable source. Only 12563V has moved to EMENA FSS so far (if you don't count feeds). And 11919H is EMENA BSS

That is exactly the point I was making in some of my earlier replies in this topic.
People are assuming that frequencies have been migrated to Badr-8 and uploading information to the online satellite data sites.

Lyngsat is almost identical to Flysat with listings for Badr-8 with the exception that Lyngsat was missing the Central Asia frequencies that are listed on Flysat.
By using a Flysat lst of frequencies for Badr-8 as the basis for the table I uploaded earlier today and scanning two orbital positions 0.3 degrees apart it seems that Flysat and Lyngsat are incorrect.

Yes, confirmed, getting a good 2-4dB more on all upper band frequencies than before, and it's chucking it down here at the moment too!

From a UK location this frequency is very strong, 15.5dB when I last measured it.
It is reported online as from the EMENA beam which has good coverage of the UK.

Most of Badr-4 transponders will move in the next few weeks they are not in a hurry,
Pure speculation to say they have already moved to Badr-8.
I will tell you when I think they have moved with a new satellite chart.

yes these frequencies have changed to Badr 8 I never had a signal before and now for the first time I can catch all frequencies 12500-12750
