In this moment

Badr 4 ..... 26,105 E
Badr 8 .... 25,984 E

That gap corresponds to between 2 and 3 clicks of my dish controller.
Using a 2.0m dish with beam aperture of 0.93 degrees at a UK location, the SNR dB levels from signals assumed to be on the Badr-8 MENA beam can be observed to fluctuate as per the table I uploaded in post 323.

Your table has difference between 11747V and 11785V.
But these both are Badr8 MENA, there is no difference here. And there is no Badr4 involved here.

There might be no difference at your location but here in the UK there is a difference.
I did not say the difference applied globally, in most of my posts on this subject I have indicated my findings are for a UK location.

All the phenomena you've been descibing has nothing to do with the satellite locations in the sky rather with antenna form discrepancy, misaligned focuses, interference from nearby satellites etc.

I think I will go for the "etc" option.

I'm quite surprised to lock quite a few of the Badr-8 BSS MENA transponders on my Gibertini 1.2m dish, 40km NW of central London.

Weakest signal that I can lock on my SF8008 is 11747V at 4.0db with some BER but only a little breakup.

It is actually not raining for the first time in a while.

I'm assuming that Flysat is up-to-date on Badr-8.

Time to do a blind scan before that rain comes back.

12073H 27500 frequency jammed by Sky & Czechs!!
at least now I m sure to be flooded (or squeezed out)by both Astra 2(Sky TP) ,and 23.5E (a Czech enkrrypted bouquet ,as heavy as a Semmelknödel which Czechs also enjoy. ,but under a different name!...)
just 1 question: who pays for watching Czech tv here?

You need larger and larger dishes for the beam the further north you go

Slovenia 150cm 9.5dB
+600Km to northward
Northbavaria 180cm 8.2dB
+250Km to northward
CentralGermany 270cm 7.0dB
