In the last few days, there was only one test carrier yesterday morning. and with the change in telemetry frequencies, I suspect that the displacement maneuvers will begin soon. I'm monitoring the position....

Yesterday evening the telemetry signals had a drop in power (a sign that they have been switched to an omnidirectional antenna), already this morning a slight movement towards the east is noted. Let's see in the next few hours if the movement maneuvers have actually begun.

Yes I can confirm a drop of signal power of the main beacon and telemetry frequencies at 10951 and 11449 yesterday 1740 GMT and a notable movement towards east since 0900 GMT this morning.

From the TLE data, it is moving at about 0,5° per day... and from measuring the strength of the telemetry signals, I can confirm that it is moving east.

@Marcus_21 sorry for offtopic, could you check where HotBird 13E went? TLE's are missing for over a week, meaning it stopped probably, it could be anywhere between 17 and 34°W now!
Edit: I see now that you updated your telemetry page just yesterday. So apparently HotBird 13E is beyond 31°W now still moving 2.3°W/day.

@hvdh when I updated the tables on the website, I took the data from the TLEs.
Now I did a check, looking for telemetry signals and detected it at about 16°W. I don't know if it stopped or is still moving... I should check in the next few hours.

Yes, a TLE appeared last night, HotBird 13E is at 16.0°W.
Looking at the ITU filings, this might be a slot reservation for NigComSat or ABS.

I just checked and its current position is about 8°W, in line with LTE... transfer speed has increased at about 1° per day.

to be in another position before to retire ...
