@satesco: could that be a feed for Sky Anytime or such an on demand service?
Sky hardware can't support this modulation from what I'm aware of.

@M60 's right,to read data streams in mode ACM 16 APSK & 32 APSK you need dedicated /professionals receivers/demodulators.In no case with commercial receivers , as is the skybox.

What we really need is a live channel transmitting transponder to light up on 2E on whatever beam, then we can take it from there.
Not these ephemeral signals that cannot be read on a normal stb.

Just my opinion ;)

Such reports from Live Channels will of course be made in the Regional Threads provided for exactly that purpose :-funbounce

Even though today was activated transponder-12441 V, I wonder if he really is from Astra 2E?In fact this transponder was used before,as you know! Why this transponder was placed here when there are also others at this position ?In my opinion,I might get wrong,I think that with the activation of 12441 V, Astra will give up its two sub-band data transponders that have European spot and which are now on the Astra 2F.It is the first step that SES makes before transferring transponders on Astra 2E?What do you think?

that's how it looks from here:

If it's 2a south beam, it's considerably weaker than the others, if lyngsat is correct. It's more in line with the 2F PE Beam ones.

Edit: Any idea what 11538V, 11569V, 11521H and 11552H are ?

There is no signal on 12441 V here in Gran Canaria. If it is a European beam then it must be 2A North or 1N.

This time the bbc didn't advise on a specific date for the switchover, differently from previous satellites.
Strange because these transfers usually require interruption of services for some time at night
