The frequencies should stay the same.

The "big day" will probably be staggered over a couple of weeks, the first changes are expected in the next few days though.

Is this 10942H really from 2E, or could this be just shadow signal from upper frequency band 11792H ? (actually 11798H Sky TP). In Finland that 11798H is very higher related to 1N/2F in Finland.
Here is constellation diagram from this 10942H:

Well you're not far from me and I can get 28E on a bit of wet string (Apart from a few Eurobird TPs: But that won't be a long term issue!).

The 26 / 33 MHz thing has nothing to do with analogue or digital. All analogue Astra channels were on 26MHz transponders, which was a SES "specialty" in the beginning - they used that as a compromise between quantity and quality, because a 26MHz wide analogue FM carrier was not of the same quality as a full 5MHz PAL carrier, which was the analogue terrestrial standard. For real studio quality, 36MHz transponders were necessary.
When SES launched their digital service in 1996, they again did some compromise using those 33MHz instead of 36MHz on Astra 1E and Band E...

I get anything on 10942H here.

@timo_w2s: yes I agree, they are 1N PE2, while those data carriers in Band C are 1N PE1...

With digital wouldn't 36MHZ be more efficient than 33MHZ (for statmuxing etc)?

Do i read correctly when i conclude that at this time there is no channell being transmitted with 2E that I might recieve on my vu+ solo ? I guess therefore that at some point SES may turn on a test channell as they did in turning on BBC HD on 11023H with 2F ?

Correct. No Channels yet, but it won't be very long at all before the first transfers take place.

No tests that I can see this morning, 10942H left now. You will have to wait for changeovers to start, maybe this week.

@popolon
The carrier is (or was) far too narrow for DVB content. Don't know what you have there.

Out of curiosity can i ask why your sure there will be no testing in 28.2e as before but that they will go straight to changeover ?

The bulk of the Testing occurs well away from the Operational position and was completed before Christmas.

But of course some further checks need to be carried out before traffic is carried.

Presumably that's what yesterday's carrier was part of.

And of course there may be other integrity and function checks, but it isn't an easy thing to re-test Transponders in the same manner as at 43.5E as interference with current services needs to be avoided.

Precedent suggests that any remaining checks will be completed in short order and the main business will commence.

EUROBIRD TO CLOSE
SES has revealed in a press release today that all Eutelsat's Eurobird satellite channels will be transferred to SES Astra's fleet. This follows a long-running dispute between the two rivals over who had the right to operate a section of the satellite spectrum at 28.2 east. Eutelsat will still carry the current package of channels, except they will be broadcast from Astra 2E, 2F and 2G.
What does this mean for viewers? In the British Isles, Eurobird is weaker than in mainland Europe. Its frequencies are often affected by rain and interference. Transmissions from the new generation of Astra satellites will be more powerful within the UK than at present.
In the east of Europe, Scandinavia and eastern Mediterranean, expats may well lose Sky completely. (see beam maps below) Astra 2A will close. Its south and north beam channels will be moved to the new satellites. This may mean weaker, but not loss, of signals for most paid-for Sky channels in Southern Spain, such as Sky Movies and Sports.

quite pessimistic text.... expats in Southern Spain probably have their 125cm dishes or can get one, so all Sky channels will still be receivable. Even the Canary Islands remain covered.
Eastern Mediterranean is a different story though... people in eastern Greece or Cyprus probably will loose everything.

No changes overnight recognisable here. So 2E operations only start in the PR world today ;)

More likely they will migrate one of the Transponders currently testing, and use that to do any final checks similar to what happens with BBC 2 regional HD on 11023 on 2F. ITV HD have a couple of test transponders active.

her is this source
you can read "in lines" or "between lines":

According to the second agreement between both companies, Eutelsat has therefore contracted long-term satellite capacity on the SES satellite fleet at the 28.5 degrees East orbital position. Eutelsat will commercialise over Europe on the SES fleet 125 MHz (eight transponders) of the formerly disputed 500 MHz. Eutelsat will also commercialise on the SES fleet the 250 MHz (12 transponders) which was not the subject of the legal proceedings. The 20 transponders will be operated on three new satellites which SES is deploying at the 28.2/28.5 degrees East neighbourhood – ASTRA 2F, ASTRA 2E and ASTRA 2G – of which the first two have been launched and are operational, while the third is planned for a launch later this year. - See more at: http://www.ses.com/4233325/news/2014/16846982#sthash.SMDkrtJs.dpuf
