We might have an idea by New Year's Day if 1H is stopping at 23.5E or carrying on to 19E, especially now it's beacon can be tracked.

I have 1H at about 24E now, taking a spot just East of 23.5E according to my positioner. 26E beacon still visible, down 5dBuV from its 26E position.

Incidentally, my LNB's oscillator is approximately 0.5MHz off frequency, which explains the beacon being that much off centre in the display.

We'll know by tomorrow, if Llew can spot the beacon, if she's still moving west? If so, another week from now she'll be at 19E.

According to SES Astra's Center of Box info, 1H will be positioned at 19.6°E. no typo, 19.6 not 19.2

Don't ask me why, makes no sense to me.

If 1H is inclined it surely is useless for DTH use unless they stabilize it, this though will use more of its dwindling fuel reserves. Maybe 1H will be backup for 2B which then takes 2C's TP's whilst 2C heads to 28E and relieves the ex 2B to 1N widebeam TP's. 1N then heads to 19.2E, 2B then used as fleet back-up and 1H back to 23.5E for SNG use?

Yes, passed 3B, maybe 23.2E now. I can only rough-guess counting my positioner pulse readings either side or between receivable satellites. Real-time though, 01/01/2014 23:48.

I've now adjusted my SA's Hi-Band LO down to give a correct spectrum frequency reading ( LNB osc. is off true).
