No, won't be then, the following week early one morning at the earliest for the beginning of the migrations and suspect it will happen for different services over the course of a few nights.will be that end of next weekend
after that start switich tp
2D -> 1N migration was on Monday night/Tuesday morning. All channels except BBC on 18/02/2012, and BBC on 25/02/2012. Didn't realise most major migrations at other locations were over a weekend. Did Sky's ex 2D TP's migrate on the 18/02/12 too? I seem to remember them going a tad earlier than all the others?2D -> 1N migration was on Monday night/Tuesday morning. All channels except BBC on 18/02/2012, and BBC on 25/02/2012. Yes. There were band C migrations before that date (C5 for example), but 2D migrations were on the 18th and 25th.Did Sky's ex 2D TP's migrate on the 18/02/12
It seems to me to be inconceivable that they would go straight into mass transfers without some testing first: It's a hostile environment up there in space and apart from the beacon and some telemetry, they cannot possibly know if all has remained well (ie No degradation or damage) without testing.
Sooner or later they'll have to bite the bullet. It seems to me to be inconceivable that they would go straight into mass transfers without some testing first
sky is probably moving their channels to a PE beam...It looks like the Disney TP on 10862H is being cleared out as services are now duplicated on 11914H and their 1N spot TP is currently only half full anyway.
Maybe SES will use this TP for initial testing, even if only for a few days?
