Ok we have a new map to populate - lets see what the new beam is looking like.

To begin with we will start with Sky News SD on Sky EPG 501, Freesat epg 202 & frequency 12207V 27500 2/3

Cartoonito or Fox SD Sky UK epgs 619 & 188 (12110H 27500 2/3)

As before we want positive & negative reports, dish sizes receiver &and lnb info

Your location is vital for this - the nearest town to you

An idea of the reception would be very useful - for example

no problems, good signal 24/7
no signal since the move
poor in the evening good in the morning

Ive had a report on the FB page that a viewer in Paphos in Cyprus has lost Sky News, but no dish size yet.

["Noise floor" has SS 41... need SS 52 or more to get lock for SD]
[Usually only get Ch5 from 0900-1700h]

Munich. Cheap 1m. Cheap IceCrypt LNB. Technisat HDFS.
2200h local time. Chucking it down.

When did Sky news SD move ? It was working this afternoon but not right now on my 3m in Limassol.

No problems with either frequency here 24 hrs a day using either a VU+ Duo or Sky HD box (Amstrad).
Lazio, Italy near the city of Sora in Frosinone province.
1.25m offset dish with Black Ultra quad lnb.

12027V coming in at 100% on all installations (see profile); no after-dark or bad weather drop-outs. FTA user only, so can't speak for 12110H.
On a related note I heard elsewhere that loss of the Sky News transponder would means loss of the whole EPG for Sky boxes; in turn that could result in a complete de-tune of all other channels. Generic FTA boxes unaffected.

7 day EPG data is on 11778V which is still on a Astra 2A North beam. I think pretty much all tranponders contain a limited EPG. When I can't pick up 11778V I manually choose a different transponder in the box's settings and that populates the box's channel list and gets me EPG programming for a few hours but not the full 7 days.

That is correct. You get 12 hours of EPG and no series links.

i guess its as expected, but just some additional information:

all PE beam tp's (2A,1N?-2F?, whatever) including the ones mentioned above, those that moved and the ones that didn't - perfect reception come rain or shine...150cm gibertini dish.

uk beams:
1N - generally good reception, losing a few tp's at night or in rain
2F - absolutely positively nothing, nada, zero

we had heavy rain here in budapest all day today - perfect reception of sky sports f1 sd and sky news sd - no difference to any of the other PE beam tp's. mind you, my sky hd box lacks numeric signal indicator, but its on max.
but because of the weather, i have picture break-ups on 10891H (itv2+1, ch 179) which is 1N UK

the weaker tp's for me are: 10891H, 10862H, 10921H, 10936V (all 1N UK)

but on hd boxes, they actually indicate the reception of the channel i am on
