Dish sizes & receivers please :)
1 metre dish, standard cheapo 2lnb which came with the dish and Pace receiver. I am talking about the sky news we have always had on 501 (no HD), is that correct?

Well, generally they look alright. You may change the LNB to Ku-linear instead of custom, the settings will be the same. You may also increase the step to 4 or 5 MHz, if you want to speed up the process...

I don't believe the statement the TPs have moved to 2F
unless they reshaped 2F
I could get all the changes made onto 2F at Christmas

Yes, most of them (you may see some scans I posted before). Although their signals are now down 4-6 dB, and they are very sensitive to weather.

The early ones were the "UK / north west Europe" beam.

The latest ones will be the "pan European" beam

Well then they have a massive failure of the Canaries lobe then. SES PR people have given out incorrect in the past.

If everything is gone to 2F as SES suggest does this mean then that there is variable power on different tps ? Some of them are SNR 100% with my AGC pulling right back. Im not versed enough to say something doesnt add up between that and the canaries lobe.

The SES report says 2B was replaced by 2F , it doesnt say that everything moved to 2F.

Lots of rumours about transponders on Astra 2B (and maybe some from 2A) being moved to another satellite. Would be nice if SES would confirm what if any changes have occurred

Best thing to do is probably start a new thread in this section with details of the high and low power tp's and we might be able to see a pattern. If its stuck in this thread the info will get lost very quickly!

I was one of the guys asking the questions on their Facebook page and yes, they replied traffic had gone to 2F.
But they didn't reply when I asked them to confirm....
