Has anyone any idea when 2f will be moved to its intended position?? - AFAICS thats the only time any real testing wil be of any value to most people!!

I've been looking back through old signal reports and the following looks interesting:

Huevos, Alicante, 29 Oct, 7:13am, 11866V, +26dB, #527
Huevos, Alicante, 29 Oct, 8:53am, 11643V, +24dB, #528
Huevos, Alicante, 29 Oct, 8:53am, 12587V, +3dB, #529

The signal started off strong then went weak.

I find it hard to believe they switched from high to low power so are we looking at a switch from PE to UK beam?

If #529 was a UK beam then how is it likely to change when 2F goes to 28E?

It would be nice to have some reports from Poland at the same time and frequencies as Spain to see if the beam is 15deg east. Anyone in that part of the world reading this?

If we had some reports from Poland at the same time as Italy or Greece we could confirm if 2F is working 15deg east and we could predict from the results from Italy or Greece what will happen when it moves to 28E.

Based on what I've seen so far I expect 2F to be very similar to 1N for fringe reception.

Think the poster means it testing position is 15degrees east of its intended position!

43.5 minus 28.2 = ~15 degrees

What makes you think that is the spot beam? I think you should look at the tests at 11035H. These were also done on 1N and they were the spot beam.

If you watch these signals in real time you would see they are up and down like a yoyo. And I mean literally as fast as a yoyo. The difference between my reports and the others is that mine are time lapse so only show the strongest signal any transponder has sent during the entire test period. The rest of the report are just a sweep of the band and just show what was active for a split second, and the power level at that time.

1N started testing at 2ºE on the 19 August, and had it first transponder switched on at 28ºE on the 22 October.
