Astra 2F Testing Reception Reports

First of all, when positioned on another position than intended the footprint will be different.

For me there was almost zero change in the signal I received from 1N at 2E and 28E. The present test is half that difference from 2F's permanent location so I would expect changes to be small.

For me if the UK beam is less than 15dB down on the beam we are currently seeing on 12325H it looks like we will be good to continue using the exact same equipment we currently use for 1N reception.

Do you live in the eastern part of Europe? 2E is only in the advantage of the Western part of Europe.

Which is a big flaw in using 28E as the major slot for the UK. A lot of the work going into tightening the footprint is wasted because of this.

I'm guessing this is UK beam. Just visible here and about 10dB down compared to 12185H.
