Certainly not as blustery, but a continuous westerly that is whistling through a small gap in the air brick.
I expect things will change soon

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
BBC Weather seemed to indicate that the strongest winds here would be at around 11.00-12.00, but in reality I think they've been since around 14.00

It's certainly cooled off. Almost time to put a t-shirt on.

The neighnbour's bins have not reappeared.

VERY "noisy" about 1/2 hr ago but seems to be calming down now - and our dustbin is OK because I brought it into the kitchen earlier today (otherwise it could have been in "another postcode" )

Also, very "luckily" the recycling lorry came round this morning before the winds got really high - otherwise a whole load of stuff could have been in multiple other postcodes!

Edited: just checked the Gibby and it has survived apparently unaffected! - still getting the Iranian channels on 53E AND the radio channels on Intel 14 on 44.5W :D

Its not been too bad here at all. A little snow on the higher ground overnight, and a bit breezy. No more so than a normal winters afternoon though.

Went out for a walk this afternoon and could see a dusting of snow over in the Dales, twenty miles to the east. Nowt here, though.

Watcvhing the jets trying to get into Heathrow on the Big Jet TV youtube channel was interesting whilst I was in work this morning. (Half term so it was me & 2 janitors!) It certainly hepled pass the morning whilst I was tinkering with stuff.

Zone 2 with 3 lnbs has survived, which I'm glad about as it's not very nice weather to do realignment.

Mine went about 2pm. It held up pretty well initially, lost a little signal but still in the arc before a strong gust shifted the pole bracket attachment about 30 degrees. I felt uneasy watching it when the strongest stuff hit, it was bouncing all over the place. The base held firm but if it had tipped then it would have sent 8 paving blocks tumbling down the side of the house.

All we seem to have had, for the past week, are strong winds, and a lot of rain, except this morning, as it's also been snowing!!
North West UK.
My dish signals are slightly down, but it's still working.
