Yesterday's drizzle has been replaced by howling wind and drizzle.

1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 35 years and is now fixed on 13 East using two pairs of rusty molegrips. Unlike me they never groan but always perform.

Rather inclement weather for my first ever visit to Bournemouth to meet up with family, wind rain sun sea mist and blooming cold, made me feel right at home just what I am used to:rolleyes:

Back in May I visited the Piers Knowe trigpoint near Greenlaw to tick it off my list. This was the view of the trigpoint:

One of the guys on my trigpointing group visited it yesterday - the landscape was rearranged slightly by storm Arwen!

As per the Leonard thread, the rain is now coming down in buckets.

One last day of hope tomorrow, currently the comet is 'visible' at around 3 degrees above the horizon, for about 14 minutes at 15.50 or thereabouts.
