having a BBQ is about having an enjoyable afternoon meal in the garden under bright sunshiny skies
Exactly. Else I might as well cook in the oven in my kitchen and eat in the conservatory...

Carol's phallus isn't helping matters (picture credit to @Lazarus).

I deny absolutely any responsibility for Carol's phallus.

More's the pity.

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
4th mow a couple of days ago, and I'm hoping to "unbox" (It's locked up) the BBQ later today for some cooking on Monday.

"Practice makes perfect" - or so it ought to!

Dunno how it came loose, but it did and I ended up running the mower over it, only noticed it was missing after the oil filler cap got caught on a leylandii branch and popped off spraying oil about... :-doh

I think I used up all my luck with that mower on starting it up for the first time since last year, cos from dry it only took one go and it fired right up, probably thanks to my manual choke mod which works better than the auto-choke crap it had originally... ^_^

It is already 3rd time I am grilling this year, but, for sure, just a first time I've mowed the grass

I think you should try grilling the grass and mowing the steaks.

While you lot are sweltering in 20+C heat, here in Barcelona, it's been raining and distinctly chilly......I'm sure that will ellicit some sarcastic remarks...

Only the 3rd?
I think tonight was the 15th time or so this year for me.
(But of course I cheat with a butane-fuelled grill in the colder months where the char-coal does not seem to have quite the oomph...)

But yes, today was the first mow of the year here too :)

Despite warm-ish weather, my grill is still in the gatage. I am determined to dig it out tomorrow but we are once again rather busy so not sure how far my determination will stretch...
