The Blagovest birds also have K(C)osmos nicknames, though there is nothing mentioned for the 12E slot.

Is it a geostationary or one of those that moves around a bit ?

Looks like I am getting washed out with some 5G interference, the signal level is constantly fluctuating between 3.0dB and 11.3dB?
It is never stable enough to keep a constant lock.

Your house is in a valley from memory, unlikely to be 5G unless the tower is in direct view.

Have you moved ?

Dave, this might help you determine if it's 5G problems - make a small coax lead up, feed from your Promax into a temp Cband lnb with feed as in picture, or use a spare lnbf you might have, set LO & power to lnb etc, - go outside , point lnb horizontally , spin yourself around and direction find looking for signals from anywhere between 3.5 - 3.8 GHz that look like the ones ive posted on the video. The signals shown are from a 5G cell just 300mtrs away from me due south using a funamental centre tx freq of aprox 3.79Ghz and a tx panel looking straight at me. You can see the destructiveness it's causing the lnb up to nearly 4.190Ghz.

@John

Thank you, I will give it a "whirl" tomorrow.
I have a couple of options for the LNB(F) and think I know where the offending tower is.

The dish is currently aimed at 46.0E so 60 degrees either side of that should be OK.
A fair chunk of that 120 degree field of view is blocked by buildings and trees, the mobile pallet dish only has 57E to 7W arc at its current location.

One comment re the video:
On the Promax I see you have set the span range on the Promax to full, I assume that is to show the level of 5G swamping up the frequency range all the way to 4200 MHz?

Not moved but the tower I suspect to be the culprit is also in the valley a few hundred metres along the main road and the dish is pointed in its direction when on 46.0E
I will carry out the 5G test recommended by John as soon as possible and see what that shows.

I'll be back... :cool:
