I've put C120 flanges on a few offset feed universal LNBs with their feed cut off but none seem to give a very good match due to WG size differences. One of the better ones was a Sky LNB but that doesn't work well with TBS cards. That's not a universal, of course, and is not usable below 900MHz IF due to TBS sampling problems, when signals present above 900).
The only ones I've found details of are an Inverto range Single Universal PLL Flange LNB However, like a lot of Inverto stuff, they must have a silly high MoQ.

I have used a pair of SMW Q PLLs on an OMT but need something a bit lighter and less expensive.

Any suggestions?

Possibly two at the moment ( S-b & me) CH .... i'm also in the process of evaluating good Single C120 cost effective lnbf's for my 2.2mtr changer.

Well I'm keeping my stash

It was more pointers, Inverto is about the only name left out there (unless you are buying from the Middle East).

With that you then have to put up with the 'just out of warranty' failure anomaly, which has permeated into their PLL models as well.

It could be the sun has put his climate change hat on on course, though my efforts at water cooling three years ago should have fixed that.

And why don't you flange standard PLLs yourself? I recently made Bulls Eye LNBs. These were excellent results.

Best regards

Have you managed to source any Inverto PLL C120s? Do the series from my link actually exist?
What can be bought in ME?

A couple of singles but twins OK.

Those tried included various Octagons, a Sharp and the Sky. I've not tried a Bullseye, maybe I should try one of those, thanks.

I have had very good experiences with Megasat High Gain and Bulls Eye. The Megasat Single and Bulls Eye has a very long neck and you can even count on lambda 1/2.

The Best LNB is also very suitable. Has a longer neck and is a high gain LNB. I've been working with these parts for more than 10 years.

A couple of singles but twins OK.

Both singles and twins are available from varying sources, but they are almost exclusively Inverto which is why I avoid them.

The 'high MOQ' does tend to throw a curveball into the equation. How much is too much ?

@dreamsat I've ordered a Bullseye to try.

@Channel Hopper Do you have details of a re-seller who has any of these?:
Code:
https://www.inverto.tv/lnb/482/single-universal-pll-flange-lnb
https://www.inverto.tv/lnb/483/twin-universal-pll-flange-lnb
https://www.inverto.tv/lnb/486/quad-universal-pll-flange-lnb
https://www.inverto.tv/lnb/484/quattro-universal-pll-flange-lnb

MOQ, How much is too much ? probably more than 10-20, depending on delivered cost.

-It might be good to compare these LNBs you have used with an analyzer on a satellite that uses several spots, such as Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, etc.
The SNRs obtained tell us more about the value of one or another lnb, even if our reception system is different and we are in different areas.

-Who has done tests with this C120 Flange lnb and with what results? And post them.

Singles and twins are no issue, fours are very thin on the ground.

Most suppliers will deal with small (sub10) quantities, so now comes the pricing.......

Well spotted, i did some searching and found nothing.
Being a Quattro will have bumped the price up - i checked on their lnb singles list but didn't see anything.
Hmmm, tempting..

@dreamsat Here it is, the Bullseye on a C120 flange. It is good and much better (1-2dB across band) than my original Octagon versions.
@satesco I have done some tests but need time to process the results. Generally the Bullseye is very similar to the Invacom DRO SNF-031 but with much better frequency stability.

For the moment, I'm happy with the Bullseye. However, if anyone wants an Inverto quad or quattro they are available from Bulgaria at a reasonable price (265лв = 117GBP + tax etc). The singles and duals are not in production.

@RimaNTSS @Slavio_79 Thanks but I don't think that any of those are PLL. This is the current list of Inverto and the PLL ones are indicated LNB - Inverto.tv

The Invacom ones are the source for the flanges I have been using on the LNBFs.
