4Music & the other music channels ovned by Box consortium have moved back to the European beam today on 11627V. All channels remain fta - except 4Music which has gone encrypted again due to programming rights issues.

Its on 11627V 22000 5/6

Which ones? Whats left of the Channel 4 + versions are all on the UK beam - even the encrypted ones for Ireland.

The 3 HD channels are in the HD additional subscription pack & should be available to anyone with an HD level subscription.

Sorry for being unclear ... the question was whether or not a UK Northern Ireland Sky subscription i.e. Sky card registered to a NI address receives these channels from the Republic of Ireland via 28.2e:

11914H: RTÉ One/RTÉ 2/TG 4/RTÉ One +1/Oireachtas TV/RTÉ News/RTÉ Jr (all SD)

12246V: RTE1 HD / RTE2 HD

Ive added the 3 STV's to the main chart. Make the most of them as its unlikely they will stay fta on the Europe beam long term

Seeing as they are on Freesat no they wont be encoded! It is likely they will switch the a UK beam soon though. Although maybe no--one really cares if the horriffically bad output from Weegie TV is seen across Europe

Guesswork & speculation.. As are all our predictions here. No-one apart from the channel executives know wehat the long termplans are.

Make the most of it. If it stays great. If it disappears as its moved onto a UK spot, well thats just how the satellite game pans out sometimes.

The 3 widebeam FTA versions of STV HD are now encrypted. STV Glasgow/West HD remains FTA on the UK beam.

A lapsed subscription card will work as long as it hasnt actually been cancelled.

Encrypted channels - Freesat does without.

There is one STV HD channel on the UK beam so thats just applied to all STV area Freesat viewers.

can anyone verify if it's possible to tune these STV HD channels through the 'other channels' option on Sky boxes with English postcode cards?
