Amazingly it still works.Focus still a bit off.I found that it is easy to set the focus for distance, for close up it's a bit fiddly. As it is, may be as good as it gets.If I see software that can help I will try it.For now though I will leave it until I get a new lens.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

My camera's not open to the outside world, and I have changed the password to the one rattling around in my head... :)

All of my cameras are open to the net. As I need to stream one house to another and iPhone/iPad

So been through all of them have had passwords and usernames changed.

And I use DNS services so I have also changed the DNS address.

Also switched off the tenvis DDns default address.

I could set my camera up to use a dynamic DNS thing so I can access it through a custom URL, but, I have no real need to as the NVR software records anything going on in the yard, if something goes missing or something happens out there that gets captured, then I have a recorded copy of it to forward to the coppers... :)

I have had a quick read of it.

Body worn cameras are one of the main changes to the data protection act.

Hope you get the dish sorted?

A question to the masses, I got into an argument in the street a few days ago, at my other house, and as the women was shouting and swearing and waving her arms at me in an aggressive manner,

I took out my iPhone to start filming her!

Now was I braking the law by doing so?

Nope, you're recording in self defence to use as evidence against an aggressor, just don't upload it to anywhere public, keep hold of it for when you need to use it against them if the police are brought in...

I did phone the police and got an incident number I then forwarded the video to the housing association (her landlord) as I have an ongoing anti-social complaint.

The council issued green recycling boxes to all of us, she lost hers, so she thought she would steal mine!

I was walking in with the dog, as she came downstairs from the flats above. That's when it all kicked off as she told me that she had taken the green recycling box and that she was told to do so by her housing officer!

This is on the video, when I told her that it belongs to my flat, she just went right off on one.

I have emailed the housing officer who told us by email "that she has concerns that we are filming her tennet's, visitors and her children"

People will always make claims like that when they know they're doing illegal things, they don't like being caught out so pull out the "they're filming my kids" card, with no evidence to back their claim up...

I know what you mean, all I can do now is wait until the housing officer of police come knocking.

I also wonder if with the vid can the police do her under public order?
