Just realized that on screen clock on TGN is some 24 seconds behind the actual time. Might be a broadcast lag though. We'll see.

I had no idea how many different versions of Dinner For One there are now: Just flicking around to find a showing of the original (17.00 on WDR) and I've noted a colourised version, an Anniversary version and I believe there's a children's version too!

No way. The silly hats you might remember from NYC have spread to Vietnam. Just seeing live on VTV4

For TGN and VTV4 same aspect ration caveat seems to apply, need to stretch to 16:9 manually. Programming seems to be 16:9 but no signalling.

Who would have thought it. No ABBA at least for now. In Hanoi you could hear other western modern hits right now. VTV4 switching between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City
