Quite bizarrely, my Bell Ringing Band watch this in one of our members' Cinema (He has a Projector and reclaimed Stalls in an Attic room) every NYE, with a barrel of beer close to hand.

I always imagine Mr Tivu in an equivalent Quasi room with a 10,000w sound system watching poparoundtheclock while we are chasing midnight.

Hong Kong was shown on Phoenix Info News although they didn't show as much as Sky News did.

Beijing had no fireworks just people dancing

That's disappointing. There is always May. I've been keeping an eye out when I go to the shops, one advantage of the increase in charity shops has been the odd gem hidden in the dvd rack. And there is the covid dividend, with the money saved by not going out as much I got a new dish and LNBs and I am going to get new big speakers and a 4k tv with DVB-S2 so it may be PATC and Chasing Midnight at the same time next year.
