Coming up is Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba and New York.

Rio may be on Euronews at 02:00.

Cuba may be on Cubavision Internacional 19e at 05:00.

New York at 05:00 on CNN without Kathy is unwatchable.

Same procedure as every year. Just got up and caught up with Eastern USA and Central USA New Years(I had my set top box record CNN overnight). As a bonus, CNN looks to be doing Mountain time zone too this time.

Boise, Idaho was shown on CNN.

I've never seen mountain time celebrated before. It was a parody of the New York balldrop, instead of a balldrop it was a potato being dropped infront of the state capitol building. CNN decided to cut it off after 2 minutes and go to a pre-recorded concert.
