Oahu: Honolulu Fire Department said there will be two shows, one in Waikiki and the other in Ko Olina. They will both begin at midnight, and the fire department have said they can be viewed from many parts of the island.

Maui: A fireworks display will light up over the Grand Wailea Resort at midnight and can be viewed in many spots along the coastline.

Lanai: Fireworks will go off at Manele Bay also at midnight.

An unusual festivities cancellation here in the uk last night. Scarborough's celebrations were cancelled at the last minute to protect a walrus!

I was about "done" myself just after midnight - and then there was a series of VERY loud bangs right outside the bedroom window and on top of the conservatory!

Was probably neighbour's fireworks, but sounded like bloody grenades (or what I think they would sound like), and we were still sporadically hearing fireworks until about 2.30! I know it was the begining of the new year, but 2.30am??

PJB STUDIOS on youtube seems to have many NYE displays in good quality.... Just an observation before loading up running video for treadmill
