Just been on a 4-day visit to South Korea. (Yes, business trip, so it may conflict with the topic title, but, hey...)

Not too many domestic dishes seem - this country is extremely well wired (many have fibre-to-the-home, most have 100 Mb/s+ download speeds.

But here is a selection of dishes from the roof of an un-named STB manufacturer. Looks like most of it is C-band stuff, although having no idea of the sat profile in Korea, I might be wrong.

Some SAT-related hardware.

Some time ago (Sunday) installed 1,1m Triax on my friend's balcony. Could not put it higher because there were no bricks behind wooden fence. Drilled 4 holes through wood and brisks and fixed holder by 4x8mm threaded bars.
So it happened that feedarm is located beneath balcony railings  looks funny but works OK. It was for Astra 4 (Ex. Sirius) for Latvian channels.
Next time when I come maybe fix cable to feedarm and wall.

That was 35m/s this morning in my home city. Friend of mine got his dished badly bended, and I think he is not only one who got something like that. Wind direction was S-W. and it still blowing ATM.

Blimey!

35m/s = 78 mph

My somewhat exposed 1m dish has been subjected to winds not far short of that in recent weeks and never budged, thankfully.

This is why fibre glass dishes rule! Though, they'll probably take the wall down instead of buckling up themselves.. not sure which one I'd prefer.

Wow those dishes are bent in half nearly.

In that area think you'd be best fitting a laminas or cm dish

That mad, are they decent dishes or something very flimsy? I just can't believe my TD88s could fold over like that in the wind, even at 35m/s (although that is stronger than we'd normally experience).

My Gibertini withstood stronger gusts than that last winter and the one before, looks more like they were helped on their way by human intervention. Unless of course your winds were vertical?

Walking around today with family. Of course I could not just pass this dish without taking picture. I think it is perfect!

Just been on a week's holiday based in a Cottage near Ravenstondale in Cumbria.

The Owners lived next door and I was struck by apparent overkill on their Sky Dish

I can vouch for the fact that it gets a tad windy there!

Nice heaters on those things. Any idea what they are used for?

No don,t know what they are used for -- they are very close to the railway line just south of the station.

Hi all! Was in Stavanger today. Of course prices there so high, especially alcohol  simply unacceptable. To get drunk, people there sell their houses. Because of that, consumption of sugar in the country is very high, as sugar is on of the incidences for making home-made alcohol :-rofl2. Just kidding. Of course- higher income.
Hoped to see some Fibo dishes installed, but did not even see any. 1xT90 and 1xT55.
But then, finally spotted some good stuff! Very interesting. Unfortunately, pictures taken from moving car and through glass. Also found that "sat-dish yard" in the Google Street view. I think if somebody visit that facility, conditions and prices could be specified.
