EUTELSAT 8 West B

Can get all the Horizontal beams here except 11055 H 17000 (although almost) but the Vertical ones (in the range 12500-12750 East Beam) are a no go.
Signal levels for the receivable ones are between 15 db to 16.5db.

Correction...Coming back to 11055H 17000....I could not lock this with two Dreamboxes using an Tuner BCM4505 BUT when I made use of the Alps Tuner, which I have inserted in one the DB 8000 Slots then it peaked in at 20db, with a 1.2 Dish Also when using DR.HD F15 with a 1 m Dish it came in with 15.5 db.
Now it's raining and quite overcast and still coming in at 19.50db. Guess no amount of AGC applied can
stop from over saturating the BCM4505 and therefore rendering them incapable from locking this Freq.

Exactly! Which means either the real footprint ends furthersouth or the footprint that was published is rubbish... what's more suprising about this orbital position though is that I receive 10719 and 11660 from 7WA for about 15 hours a day (mostly night)!
And even crazier, all Nilesat 201 frequencies come very well at about 8.5-10db 24/7!
Very disappointed with the new satellite, it's not the first time though! I can clearly recall when I lost all frequencies from AB4 when they moved to the 7WA MENA beam!

If you are just outside the official footprint, perhaps you are in a null? Those further away might be seeing a side lobe so the signal will be a little stronger.

The spectrum below 11700 MHz from 7-8°W is almost clear for me now. But I have increased signals in subband 12500-12750 MHz.

First report from Balkan.Slovenia, 120 Laminas, signal is very weak, but some 17 Trp are receivable at my place. Only dvb-s signals, the strongest trp at my place 11430 V. Some pictures attached...

Edit : false info..all this trp are from 7,3 W - Eutelsat 7 West A :mad:.

From Madrid I see two antenna positions if I want to win signal (7.3 and 8.0).

The limit of the DVB-S2 HD channels pixelated much, much SD channels with BER (bit error rate) image ok, perfect.
Al limite del sintonizador DVB-S2, pixela mucho los canales HD, los canales SD con mucho BER (tasa de errores) imagen ok, perfectos.

From the look at that list it would seem that they intend to use most of the Ku band @ 8 west for DTH broadcasts with feeds moving to other Eutelsat satellites maybe 12.5 west along with E8WA moving to 12.5 west ?
