13:00pm Golden Boy (U) 1938
Dilemma facing a youngster equally skilled at boxing and playing the violin. Despite his father's disapproval, he pursues his sporting interest — but when it brings him into contact with organised crime, he starts to regret his decision. With Barbara Stanwyck and Adolphe Menjou
15:05pm The Ghost and Mrs Muir (U) 1947
Lonely widow Gene Tierney realises the spirit of a dead sea captain is haunting her new home but, devoid of fear, she gradually falls for his spectral charms. Fantasy, also starring Rex Harrison and George Sanders (888)
17:10pm The Wolves of Willoughby Chase (PG) 1989
Emily Hudson and Aleks Darowska star as brave cousins who discover their wicked governess (Stephanie Beacham) is out to get her hands on their rightful inheritance. They vow to reclaim what is theirs — only to discover they have a battle on their hands. Chilling children's adventure with some disturbing scenes, and a couple of odd casting choices. Mel Smith, Richard O'Brien, Geraldine James and Jane Horrocks also appear (888)
19:05pm The Return of the Musketeers (PG) 1989
D'Artagnan reunites his former companions to save the Queen from the evil Cardinal Mazarin, but the latter's cunning plan pits the heroes against each other. Meanwhile, the daughter of a vanquished enemy seeks revenge on the four heroes. Lively swashbuckling adventure which just about lives up to the standards set by the first two movies. Oliver Reed, Michael York, Frank Finlay and Richard Chamberlain reprise their roles as the swashbuckling rogues alongside Kim Cattrall and C Thomas Howell. Sadly, comedy actor Roy Kinnear died part-way through the filming, and a stand-in was used in some of his scenes
21:00pm The Green Mile (18) 1999
An 8ft-tall convicted murderer arrives on death row, where the guards are stunned to learn he's scared of the dark — and can apparently perform miracles. His extraordinary ability to heal makes many of the staff doubt his guilt, but emotions run high as they realise there's no overturning the sentence. Oscar-nominated supernatural drama based on a novel by Stephen King, starring Tom Hanks, Michael Clarke Duncan, David Morse and Harry Dean Stanton (888)
00:30am Frailty (15) 2001
A man tells the FBI his brother is the serial killer spreading terror through the community. As the police strive to prevent further murders, it emerges that his unhinged sibling is claiming the crimes are the work of God — and the roots of the cause lies buried in his childhood. Fascinating and gripping thriller told largely in flashback, directed by and starring Bill Paxton. Matthew McConaughey, Powers Boothe and Matthew O'Leary also appear (888)
02:25am Hav Plenty (15) 1997
Impoverished would-be author Lee Plenty is struggling with writer's block and reduced to sleeping in his car. A break from his routine comes in the shape of an invitation to a New Year's party thrown by wealthy female friend Hav. The writer soon finds himself the centre of attention for every woman in the house — but doesn't realise that he and Hav just might be made for each other. Peculiar and ultimately unfulfilling romantic comedy, written, directed by and starring Christopher Scott Cherot, with Chenoa Maxwell, Hill Harper and Tammi Katherine Jones (888)
