I cannot say I am surprised although would have thought it was Red Bull dropping Renault, the engine is way down on power and prone to pretending to be a smoke generator

I didn't realise Red Bull had ties to Aston Martin...now that would be an interesting engine in F1

I wonder if Lewis has given any thought to the (alleged) damage his participation in Motor Sport does? Even at its simplest, burning the amount of fossil fuel that an F1 car gets through, in the name of entertainment, ought to be seen as obscene by the ecomentalist brigade.

Would love to know what has happened my selection changes for TT1, they are registered on the server as being activated just after midnight Saturday morning but have reverted back to what they were for the previous race. Anyone got any ideas?

Trust the Yanks to take a tried and tested formula and f*ck it up. We dont want boxing style 100% over the top introductions and whoever thought it was a good idea for Usain to do the interviews at the end should be taken outside and have their nuts nailed to a rough plank with a rusty nail.

Oh and it was a spectacularly dull race as well. You know its dull when the cameras are following the racing for the guys in places 8 - 13!

Great Race, despite Max's (justified) penalty.

But the pre-Race stuff was awful. I'm sure I heard someone shout "Get in the hole!"

Only watched the last 20 laps because, somehow, the Sly Box did not record it (will watch the Highlights tomorrow AM). IMHO, the last few laps weren't "that bad". As for Max V didn't see all he did but it seems he "did good" (and will review "that" overtake - the Steward's decision was "probably" correct, but what do "we" want to see??)
