Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
And what about some "applause" for Carlos S - he did better that Hulkenberg in qualifying and very well in the race. OTOH, sorry that The Hulk had mechanical problems, without which the result might have been different.

Great Race, despite Max's (justified) penalty.

"

Sorry do not agree that such a penalty was justified, there were at least 15 prior incidents of track excursions by other drivers none of whom were penalised. This was a slam dunk with no right of appeal with penalties for the next race and points losses to boot, absolutely the worst stewarding decision of the season, this was one sure way to turn fans away from F1 racing in the future, irresponsible and inconsistent stewarding.

That ALL depends on "whether /if" (??) Renault can build engines which cook themselves far less often than they have this season - 4, or was it 5, "stopped" working, and mostly in clouds of fire and sparks, this afternoon.
Edited: OR will that be Honda?

That said Max V is absolutely one of those who are now challenging Lewis and (clumsy!) Seb for the top spots on the podiums !

Crikey....not only do I manage to get pole for the last GP but correctly predict qualifying places for all three drivers too?

Well thats it for another season - thank you all for playing and congratulations to our podium teams:

This thread now changes over to the usual off season chat - the new game should begin at the end of January.

And of course a big thank you to Maverick for running the game again this year.

Revival or survival, well not even Bernie could rescue this lot from themselves

FFS

  • playing a soundtrack of music at occasional parts of the race
  • a highlights reel to play at regular intervals during the live broadcast
Will this be before during or after the knitting lessons and the pit crew bakeoff that will take place just before the race?
Or better still perhaps they will have a post qualifying competition to see who can build a full racing car starting from a tub in the shortest time that can then complete 10 laps without failing?
