This year it will be awesome music, i hope we can get multiple stages uplinked at the same time for BBC Online.

Just to set expectation, last year only the BBC1/2/3/4 shows were on satellite as backup. All the individual stages were sent back over fiber/IP.

Yeh I hope so too.. I miss when the Pyramid stage was on sat and they ran entire set lists whilst the BBC coverage ended early.

As distribution via fibre becomes more widespread in country areas, then also will be the ability of O/B companies to access local connection hubs in the areas where they are temporarily working - and thus it will be much easier, quicker & cheaper to do that (especially at popular, regularly used, venues like Glastonbury) than bringing in O/B vans with sat links and all the paraphenalia that goes with them.

NB: we know that this has already happened in urban areas where sat link distribution to cinemas has been largely replaced by fibre.

I think those are ITN and Sky News as they were parked there last year, if your talking about the ones far right. The actual uplinks for the show will be in the interstage area between Pyramid and Other stage
