Help Needed to get my Octagon SF8008 Set up to move to different satellites when selected

This is the motor i have and its also set to 0 and 53 degrees yes

its the settings on sf8008 i need help with nothing else once i got the settings correct then it should move the motor and dish!!

Actually it does help to have information regarding your satellite dish, motor, and general location.
Are you using USALS, or Diseqc 1.2, to drive your satellite dish?

ok and no it isnt and i dont know why because i can get it to move when connected to my pc satellite card using dvbdream etc so it should work on the sf8008 aswell, well trying USALS @Mickha but for some reason whatever settings i change nothing happens

so this is on my sf8008 on astra 28.2e using my sky sat dish connected to my sf8008 and everything is set up correctly asits not got motor attached and as u can see its memory index is 28 goto is 0.28.2 East with signal locked etc




so if my s8008 can pick this up on my sky satellite dish and not my 100cm sat dish something is wrong, but my 100cm dish is aligned correctly etc as i can lock onto feeds no problem any ideas why my 100cm sat dish wont work like my sky one does?

i have 2 satellite tv cards in my pc 1 i have coxal cable plugged into which is connected to a splitter then the other cable plugged into sf8008 so im splitting the signal 2 ways

Update: dish is now moving with sf8008 but not getting signal from any satellites in positioner setup any ideas plz??

Choose a working frequency first not a random one.

Don't use a splitter, connect directly to the motor/LNB.

thanks ill try that now, and thanks for the screenshots, my screenshots have a different long and lat on it because i dont want people knowing my exact location, but when im not posting on here i correct them to my long and lat btw my default satelliteim positioned to is 0.8w

What you haven't done is provide the image detail of the receiver, but unless it has issues it wouldn't help you currently.

I would suggest you play with it overnight , possibly take the receiver and monitor out to the dish and see if it moves at all when you press the right commands.

If you are installing the system for somebody else then they will be as annoyed as you are after seven hours.
