Just find the external link in that Post, render it live (fairly obvious) and once at the target, scroll to Post #740.

The Patch is very small, so copy it to USB, bung it in the HDR, wait a few seconds (It'll install without intervention), remove Stick and Reboot.

OK thanks for the link to the patch - went o the link and it seemed to open the right forum post but then jumped to a different post about TV's!!! any ideas?

Live external URLs are not permitted on the Forum, so Members disable them in various ways.

Just look at the Link as written and it will immediately be obvious how the original Poster disabled it: eg hxxp for http

Personally, I have a "Linkification" Extension in my Firefox and IceWeasel Browsers which enlivens disabled Links automatically.

Yes, added the extra h infront to make it a valid address, it opened the page then jumped to a different thread about blacker than black tv screens with only around 30 posts Try it and let me know if the prob is with me or the link
