For sure, antenna made out of 2 bottom parts will not work as it should do. You better ask the person from whom you got this antenna to provide you with the upper part. Or find the person nearby who got 2 upper parts of the same antenna.
Ups.... I did not see the picture in the first post, sorry.

Looks the same. The difference seems to be the holes on the side for the LNB holder.
Also, the top part has nothing attached to it. All fittings are on the bottom. So the arms etc. should be OK.

should be OK.
You can probably catch some signals, but you will never get such a dish performing as 2.4m. The curvedge of the upper part of the offset antenna is different from the one the bottom part has.

I agree RimaNTSS .... the curvature of the top piece is slightly different i think ...... see pics of bolt holes
top one is 11cm deep .... bottom one is 9.5 cm

In two words: The upper and lower parts will have the focal points at different places, not in one as it should be.

A littlebit off-topic:
Out of curiosity, I wondered: what would happen when you would only use such a bottom half, for reception? As that would give the best result, when you don't have a top half, I reckon.

I just calculated: the 'new' dish would have height 1336.3, and offset angle 12.6 degrees (dish height opening angle towards focus: 48.1 degrees). Bottomstring stays 1460, topstring would be 1752.
Distance Top of dish to G-spot: 718, Focus to G-spot 1527.

So it would function as a 130cm dish, but a 'normal' feedhorn would give great spillover losses, I'm afraid. Not to recommend.
However, when you have no other dish available, and are in urgent need of some sort of satellite reception, you could try it that way, and experiment...

Back on-topic:
I hope you can find a top half somewhere!

The first image confirmed it was used. Did your supplier have more than one dish for sale ?
