yeah, if there's room for it, it should. It makes adjustment easier, as it can be fine tuned with the actuator.

I was thinking 28E on a 2.5m, the signal on a 1.8m was stupidly good, might even fry the LNB or the rec. on a 2.5m, LOL

Noted and corrected.

You might just do it, depending on the mounting point, as the PF will be leant back by approx 25 degrees, reducing its total height to approx 2.25m.

when you say might just do it do you mean get away with using the standard mount?

I am going to mount it abit different to the first pictures i showed of the dish.

It also has the bit that is supposed to be concreted into the ground, and then the dish mount pole bolts to it using some pretty hefty bolts.

I was going to do that instead of have the huge patio mount and sand bags!

Ahh, I assumed you were going to try and mount it to the pole you already planted, with a fence post stake, stuck in next to it for a bit more support.;)

ah,

The mount i got with the new dish is 4.5inch and thicker, will be alot better against the wind!

I may have to take it to my local metal yard and get it extended tho.

However, that is the good thing about the ground mount i got with it, i can concrete the bottom half in, and bolt and unbolt the top half of the pole as I please.

Will also look vert tidy once turbed over again :D

is there like a progress thread section?

I have built the mount, cemented in, and building dish petals later and aligning them...

Not sure where to post all my pictures?

Yes, post them here and maybe when it's all done, we can copy them over to Picture of Members Setups.

It doesn't say Ku Universal, so it may only be a single banded one. Doesn't hurt having a play though does it. I would presume just the lower band.

EDIT..

Google comes up with that a ku wideband LNB uses voltage to switch bands, so just one polarity perhaps.

Im not fully sure what that means mate if im honest.

I will see how late it is once all the panels are up and aligned up. My bracket and feedhorn will hopefully come tomorrow anyway :)

Does it say KU wideband on the LNB or the feedhorn? If it is on the feedhorn it could be something like the Chaparral.

I have a question

my top to bottm, left to right string meets in the middle perfect.

My left 1/4 to bottom right 1/4 is a tiny gap... how do I go about adjusting the panels abit? its only a tiny little bit off... not sure if it will even effect it?
