On the afternoon of 1st November 2022, all three HD channels gained Freesat data indicating ITV intends to make these channels available on Freesat in the near future.

Excellent. It would have been surprising if it didn't happen.

I'll check tomorrow, after the overnight housekeeping.

They’re doing a rebrand alongside the launch of ITV X so maybe the freesat launch will coincide

Not added during last night's housekeeping cycle - IIRC additions sometimes appear c.12.00, though.

We wait.

Too little too late. Maybe a few years back when HD was in its infancy. I doubt there’s anything on any of those three channels that would actually attract an audience these days. ITV Midsomer Murders, ITV The Sweeney and I honestly couldn’t tell you what’s on offer on ITV 2 but glad to see the latest announcement has stirred a little debate here.

HD certainly helps with older shows and the sport / films on ITV4. But all the SD channels should be removed along with the utterly pointless +1 channels in this age of 24/7 catch up

Agree about the SD channels, however here in France, we have a basic Freesat box without a hard drive and don't use a VPN so can't access catch up. The plus 1 channels get a fair amount of use, as SWMBO often sits up till midnight for the end of Lewis even if she does fall asleep.....ITV 3 +2 anyone?
