Results from Qualifying of Australian GP - http://www.formula1.com/race/result/753/24.html
Fantastic pole position for Button, and for the last two years to driver in pole position as won the race, it looks positive for the Brit.
Renault achieved 2nd (Fisichella) and 3rd (Alonso) on the grid, followed by the the McLaren pair of Raikkonen (4th) and Montoya (5th). Toyota looks to have improved on previous form, with 6th and 9th on the grid. Ferrari, however, looked less than impressive, Mass pushing to hard and falling to 15th on the grid, while Schumi only in the top 10 due to Villeneuve incurring a 10 place relegation (from qualifying 9th to 19th on the grid).
The big loser of the qualifying this time was Barrichello, who was knocked out in the first session of qualifying, mainly because of Ide getting in the way(!), starting tomorrow in 16th. As a side note, one has much concern for Yuji Ide, the 2nd Super Aguri driver, who had not 1, not 2, but 3(!) seperate 'driving errors' on one lapO-Ha!
