Thanks very much, guys - I guess I had a good final run. Thanks especially to Salty for organising the competition and comiserations to rolfw who at one point seemed to have a stranglehold on our league (and also malcolm who I thought was going to take it towards the end).

I've actually been on holiday (just back!) so missed the final drama.

It was brought to my attention by Norm that when he looked at the league table on the website several days after the final round of games (Sunday) that the league was actually tied!!! Indeed this was the case, much to my frustration as when I had collected the results well into the night after the final round of games, all figures were declared final by the website.

I contacted the organisers about what had happened. This is the response:

"All assists are reviewed within 24 hours of the game finishing."

PA, who provide the data, and ourselves, checked the final assists and
some corrections were made. Data is always best checked 24 hours after the final game has finished, as corrections are liable to be made.

If the league was tied, both Managers would be placed 1st, however only Norm Macrae is placed 1st and is therefore the league winner, as he made the least amount of transfers.
