Troubled shopping channel Star Bazarre TV has been moved out of the shopping section and gone into the adult secton on 919. They have been showing adult programming in thre last few days, so its very likely they will be renamed in the near future, (Look4Love 3 maybe?)

Geo News are looking at launching in the first quarter of 2007

Geo News will specialise in news coverage round the clock unlike the current Geo UK channel, which showcases a mixture of news and entertainment programmes. It is not yet known whether the Geo UK channel will reduce its news content to make way for the new channel.

According to a source, Geo News will make its official launch on Sky Digital within the first quarter of 2007.

Geo News currently broadcasts in parts of Asia. Its arrival in the UK will no doubt intensify the competition between Pakistani news rival ARY One World and Indian news channels NDTV 24/7, South Asia World (CNN-IBN), STAR News and the forthcoming Aaj Tak.

Sahara have postponed the launch of Sahara One and Sahara Filmy indefinitely. They had been due to launch this year, but it now looks inevitable it will be sometime in 2007 at the earliest before they join the platform

Treasures TV is to close after an investor pulled out.

Treasures TV will soon be closing it's doors for the very last time. The channel launched in November 2005 suffered due to Sky originally placing the channel at postion 781. Only recently the channel was moved to it's more shopping friendy location of Sky 674.

During it's time on air Treasures TV has offered items such as Fine blue and white shipwreck porcelain; Signatures of Sporting Greats; Collectibles of the end of World War Two; Art of the Greek, Roman and Chinese Empires; British Teddy Bears; Silver and Bronze of the Ancients; Fossils: the history before history.

Speaking with ShoppingTelly.com a spokesman said "Sadly the channel will be coming off air but I am unable to confirm a date. We are proud of what we achieved, we launched with a budget of just £400,000, but due to our channels positioning and an investor pulling out the channel will close.

The switch around has been blamed on continuing delays from Sky in issuing epg numbers
