UKTV G2+1 is currently simulcasting its parent service UKTVG2 - its no longer a timeshift service. This is because its showing games from the World Cup, but does not have the repeat rights to show the games. It will stay as a simulcast until the end of the tournament.

Update on Five US & Five Life. Five have stated their main channel cannot go clear due to rights issues. Seeing as its certain that shows off the main channel will be appearing on the Five US & Five Life channels I do not see how they can be fta. Ftv or subscription is now a certainty for these channels
