Overseas Property TV (287) has reduced its broadcasting hours. they were 24 hour, but are now 0700-0100

South Asia World have ceased off 512.

Zee Network now have 30 days to reactivate a channel before Sky take the slot back.An announcement is expected next week - and its widely expected to be Zee News.

An interesting switching error at lunchtime today saw Nile Drama from Cairo uplinked onto epg channel 509 for half an hour instead of EuroNews.

Last night Sky News' on screen clock was two hours out. I was watching for about 20 minutes before I realised how late it really was - and shortly after they bumped it up 2 hours!

Not as good as those channels that mess up and broadcast hours of a Windows XP desktop or OSD of their playout machines!

Mhmmm.. i think the real question is if these channels will be in the normal sky package like paramount comedy, sky One etc... I think it's the family Pack... Hope they will be available! I've been looking on http://www.starselect.com/ ...the listings look quite decent and Entertaining... Lets hope for the best!

They will be scrambled at the same level as the other Star Channels. No idea when they will scramble thopugh - probably Monday next week.

Doordarshan are hoping to get DD India (general entertainment) and DD News (news) on air by January 26th. (India's Republic Day)

(However, this depends on getting epg slots out of sky - the average wait at the moment for new slots is 5 months!).
