Arsenal TV was been removed from epg 435 yesterday. They have ceased broadcasting due to the administration of Setanta who ran their channel.

The defunct Audi Channel was removed from 884 on August 3rd, and a surprise here - German news channel DW-TV was removed from 794

DW-TV have been removed as they could not come to agreement with Sky over carriage...

Gambling channel Gamerweb.com are full trade testing in preparation for launch. They are testing on 11259V 27500 2/3 tagged as 52128

ITV1 HD will be launched as a full standalone channel by the end of the year. They was reported testing with upscaled content this afternoon showing Granada region programming.

At the moment launch is only confirmed for Freesat but no doubt they will turn up on the Sky platform at some point as well.

Racing UK on epg 432 will become a stand alone pay channel on August 16th. Subs will be £20/month

Indian channel 9X finally ceased separate operations today. It will be replace by another channel in the near future, but for the time being its carrying a simulcast of 9XM programming

9X was removed from 828 yesterday (August 12th) and was replaced by Islamic educational channel Ummah TV

Looks like another Islamic religious / educational channel is about to launch. Simply Movies on 341 is carrying epg info for Ahlul Bayt TV from Monday.

Meanwhile similarly named Ahle Bait TV on the old KBC slot 836 is already asking for money, so I cant see them lasting very long...

Simply Movies has closed off 341. Its been replaced by Ahlulbayt TV which has launched onto 842
