You skew the whole monoblock. As it is designed for 13/16/19.2°E hopefully Inverto has mounted the receive probes to account for the skew offsets of the three satellites. Then if you peak 16°E the other two feedhorns should already be in the correct positions ready to go.

Or line the dish up on 16°E and then select one of the other satellites and rotate the monoblock to peak that sat. The third satellite should then also work.

13E, and 19.2E, are very strong satellites, for the UK, so you shouldn't have any problems receiving them.
Have you installed it yet?

Thanks for the replies.

I have just taken it out of the box, weather isn't the best at the moment so waiting for the weather to clear up.

I installed an LNB in the rain years ago and was greeted with 'LNB Short'. Never again.

Weather here is still pretty bad.

I have just noticed the seller has sent me an inverto mono for a 90cm dish instead of an 85cm which it is listed as.

Will it make a difference with me using a Gibertini 85cm?

What is the model number? I'd just give it a go. I think the Gibertini 85cm is 90cm tall, and most '90cm' dishes are 90cm tall as well (I.e. not true 90cm dishes, offset dishes should be measured width ways).

The model number is 5068. I have done a couple of Google searches and the description says for a 85cm dish - yet on the LNB it says for a 90cm dish.

In practice, the apparent small discrepancy will make no discernible difference.

1C9AFC7E-AFFF-415E-945F-E459495A8913.jpegUnfortunately it seems like it is a bit of a non starter with my dish. Well, with the current LNB holder.

It is impossible to clamp the middle lnb due to the width / thickness of the Gibertini’s LNB clamp.

Do I need to split the holder in half at the top?

Does the hinge at the top of the LNB holder screw together? If so cut the hinge and hopefully it should then fit around the centre LNB.

edit: just saw your edit, I think that should work.

It’s on and it’s is working, but it definitely needs tweaking.

16e is now down to 68% from 72%.
13e is the weakest at 65%.
19.2e is at 68% quality.

All at 92% strength

Skew is off, by several degrees by the look of it, should be skewed clockwise as you look at the photo.

The skew for 16e at my location is -13.

I adjusted it to level and had a reasonable signal increase. Still getting break up on all sats with the slightest of rain.

rolfw is correct, the 13°E side should be lower than the 19.2°E side.

I’ll give it a go later. Unfortunately due rain I will struggle to take a TV and my receiver out the back.

Just a thought but on the monobloc are the lnb's pre skewed? Although their inverse elevation might be correct the skew may need a slight adjustment. As always any multi sat set up is at best, a compromise..

I was wondering this myself.

There may be a small degree of pre-skew between the two sats, but you still need to change the overall skew to gain best signal alignment. Have aligned lots and lots of these, setup on 16 east and then adjust the skew for best one 13 and 19, should fall into place.

Agree Rolfw, but using a monobloc isn't the ideal solution. I'd always go for three separate lnb's and a Diseqc switch.

It's very easy though. :)

And cheaper.

I'd have needed 3 bullet nose LNB's and a disecq switch.

I got my monoblock for £37.

Unfortunately the weather here has been horrendous the last few days. As soon as we get a clear stretch of sky I will get the TV and box out by the dish and get it properly skewed / aligned.
