Yes, but but you could also mount the actuator arm to the right rather left (as you have it).Made a bar for 1,2 Channel Master, it is fit to arc my antenna is tuned. Instead if ~45cm that 18' actuator is possible to provide it is only needed ~35cm. Also much easier for the mount to exit most-East and most-West positions.
I have always installed actuator to the right side, this time I just wished to try something different and it works as well. But, in reality, as CJ says, there are almost nothing interesting in the West side of the arc, so it is better to have more precise installation on the East side.you could also mount the actuator arm to the right rather left (as you have it).
...unless you speak Spanish and have a C-band LNB... ;)But, in reality, as CJ says, there are almost nothing interesting in the West side of the arc, so it is better to have more precise installation on the East side.
Yes, have C-band LNB and do not speak any Spanish, but still 30*W is my far-most-West satellite, which is easy reachable....unless you speak Spanish and have a C-band LNB... ;)
This one ;)What lathe? ;)
A 4.5 m dish ?That will be multi-functional room (including small storage unit, but not all year around). On top of this unit will be weight > than 1000kg. Not the billiard table
Not yet . This time it is only about water tank to use it as summer-shower, and as small storage room for winter. Old base for water tank was made long time ago, when I just dug holes and put wooden logs inside, now logs starter to rot and I do not want tank squeeze me, especially when I am naked. But, to keep this thread sat-related, will probably install some small antenna on the side of the tank, just for fun .A 4.5 m dish ?
