Have made this special holder (76mm pipe) for newcomer. Need to also make feedarms and LNB-holder. Sounds strange, but seems this antenna has 10* offset angle :confused

Are the dish mounting bolts the same width apart as a 'normal' channel master? There's a similar looking new az/el on ebay but from your photos it looks like the bolt holes are a bit further apart.

Does this dish have 0.8 fd?

If "normal" CM dish has 178x178mm between the holes, this one has 235x370mm, so completely different.

Thank you. I thought if the holes were the same distance side to side it would just need 2 new holes drilling to make the mount fit the more common 178x178mm mount dishes. Alas it's much bigger & would need an adapter plate :)

Hi all! I think that I've come to my new design of the LNB-holder. It is not fully finished yes, as the set screws should be changed to brass ones and perhaps the upper screw (M5) will also be changed to brass. It weights less than 77 grams. It can be used on all offset antennas. IMG_20230121_203607.jpg

Hey, folks, guess where I've been today? Right, on the roof to finally (after more than 3 years as it was available) pick up 2.4 Cassagrain. I hope it will take less than 3 years to have it up and running at my place. IMG_20230128_101406a.jpgIMG_20230128_101427a.jpgIMG_20230128_133722a.jpg

The central part weights more than 16 kg. Removed the sub-reflector (30 cm in diameter) to prevent damage during transportation. When I've opened the feedhorn just said "WOW, it is corrugated"! IMG_20230129_164130.jpgIMG_20230129_190740.jpg

There is another way for T90 upgrade. The new LNB-holders will be used together with original ones. Of course, 25 LNBs is too much. The new rail is not connected to original yet, still working on the proper solution.

If original plastic holders are removed, then even more holders could be placed. But that is, of course, unnecessary extreme. IMG_20230204_125804a.jpg

to use it for?
Have no plans ATM. Most likely, when I install it, will try to catch some Ku-band signals. Of course, the sub-reflector and the feed will need new mountings.

Still not going to try C-band?

May be, may be. When the system is installed, then changing of the LNB is not a problem at all.

The horizontal adjustment much better this way.
The holder I have from you I have to remove the LNB if I want to adjust it horizontally, so you can't adjust it while watching the measurements on a sat-meter.
