I would have used wideband LNBs such as the Inverto ones with unicable multiswitches. That way you would have only ran 8 cables from dish to multi switches. Well that is how I would have done it anyway.

There is a German shop on eBay that sells a Inverto Unicable multi switch and two wideband LNBs for about £137.50 including post to UK. You would need to buy 2 for 4 satellites and you can run it on up to 32 receivers/tuners. Much cheaper than 4 quarttos and a 17in 16out multi switch.

What was the problem with the winds? Only spot for me to install a T90 is above the gutter, so the information you've given on where to source 60mm brackets and steel tube is greatly appreciated. Just a bit concerned if winds are an issue?

Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
A T90 is a very large a heavy dish, it has quite a wind load, so to mount it above a roof gutter I would suggest using some ridged electrical conduit, (not the thin wall stuff) your local hardware store may sell some.

The ridged conduit over 2 inches I use would need a hydraulic bender to even start to make a dent in it, it is also galvanized, and you can add to it with threaded couplings.

It would hold that T90 very well, and you would only need to attach it at the base and at the roof eaves, if you have concrete at the bottom of where your mounting the dish you can use two heavy duty "L" brackets at the base, with a 3/8" grade 8 bolt through the brackets and conduit, you can also embed the base in concrete if you dig a hole.

As to the eave mount, a small piece of unistrut with the correct size ridged conduit clamp will hold it quite nice at the top.

Here is one install I did.

This is a 1 meter motorized dish, at about 16 feet, I had to make the mount at the top, but the "L" brackets a the bottom made it easy to tip up.
