There are many oak trees in vicinity, one (about 150m from my home) lost big brunch. Tree, perhaps, older than 200 years. And there is lots of green-energy in that broken brunch, most likely will be enough to heat my garage all winter. But that takes lots of time and energy to prepare firewood out of that brunch.

No, slow worm´s are more closely related to lizards.

Spotted this ( I think Boreal owl ) this afternoon, snap taken through double glazing hence not to sharp, but lucky enough to get this good a piccy.


First time ive seen this owl type.
